WARRANTY INFORMATION
LEM Helmets warrants to the original purchaser of this product that the product is free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two year from the original date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to defects of physical damage resulting from abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper alterations, or use unintended by the manufacturer.
If your LEM Helmet is found to be defective in materials or workmanship within two year from the date of purchase, the LEM Helmets country distributor will, at its sole option, either repair or replace the helmet free of charge. To claim the warranty, take the helmet to your retailer with a letter indicating the specific reason(s) you are returning the helmet, along with proof of date of purchase. The retailer will then evaluate the claim.
LEM Helmets does not warranty any helmet damaged due to heat or contact with solvents. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. This warranty is in lieu of all other agreements and warranties, general or special, express or implied and no representative or person is authorized to assume liability on behalf of LEM in connection with the sale or use of this product.
CRASH REPLACEMENT POLICY
If your LEM helmet has been involved in an accident within three years of the original date of purchase, you may be eligible for a discount on a new LEM replacement helmet.
To learn if your helmet qualifies, please email us at lemeurope@lemi-wear.eu with the below information:
- picture(s) of the damaged LEM helmet;
- written description of the accident;
- model, serial number, size, color and manufacture date of the damaged helmet;
- your name, phone number and shipping address;
- a dated proof of purchase;
If your helmet does qualify, you’ll be offered the possibility to buy a discounted replacement LEM helmet. If you agree to take advantage of the offer, the damaged helmet will have to be sent to LEM Europe in the Netherlands, postage paid. The replacement will always be the same model as the original or the nearest current equivalent if the original is no longer available. The crash replacement program is only valid once per purchased helmet.
